I’ve been taking jazz and blues focused double bass lessons from Alex and have learned so much in less than a year. This is my first time learning an instrument and Alex has a done a fantastic job at teaching music and notation basics in addition to teaching jazz, swing, and blues fundamentals. Alex is also incredibly talented on the piano and uses it enhance our lessons and really establish concepts. His ability to play bass is inspiring and a regular reminder that with enough practice, I can sound great on the bass too.

Alex & the band are wonderful to work with for booking our summer music concerts. They offer a good variety of sound and their music is a favorite of many. I would highly recommend them and the opportunity to put on a concert for you!
